About Us

Danaher & Walsh is a well-established civil engineering contractor operating across the Midlands, East Anglia, and Lincolnshire. We are experiencing ongoing growth due to our increased business levels.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager working on our contract with Anglian Water.

Job Description

This role involves managing and supervising civil engineering projects at site level, driving quality, productivity levels, and health and safety performance of operational teams, supporting resources, and assigned sub-contractors within the Anglian Water Framework.

You will ensure that operations are carried out in an effective, efficient, and safe manner, providing a service to our customers while adhering to all relevant Water Recycling and environmental protection standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate site activities, including management of plant, materials, traffic management, associated subcontract activities
  • Keep a close account of costs, including purchasing, labour resources, and hire, monitoring the need for and use of hired-in plant and equipment
  • Ensure the optimum method of construction is used, meeting all required standards
  • Delivering and supervising WR projects
  • Financial management of projects
