Job Title: Insurance Manager

Join Sky, Europe's leading media and entertainment brand, as an Insurance Manager and make your mark on our 24 million-strong customer base across 6 countries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage our outsourced supplier who handles insurance and non-insurance related complaints to ensure they deliver against process and ICOBs rules.
  • Oversee or directly manage complex or sensitive complaints, working with the wider business, including legal and data protection teams, to resolve issues.
  • Be the key point of contact and resolve complaints referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).
  • Optimize our complaints processes, including improving first-line resolution, complaints investigation, reporting, and root cause analysis.
  • Own complaint reporting for various governance forums and regulatory submissions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead operational forums to raise awareness of issues for resolution.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of key personal lines insurance processes, with a focus on insurance sales, administration, claims, and distribution.
  • Experience in working in FCA-regulated complaints environments and managing a complaints function.
  • Knowledge of FCA complaints ICOBs rules and best practices.
  • Good understanding of FCA, consumer duty, and DPA regulatory requirements.
  • Interest in connected home and smart devices advantageous for our tech-related complaints process.
