About the Role

">

This is an exciting opportunity to join our enthusiastic and skilled community team at the London Borough of Havering Mental Health Service. We are seeking a qualified mental health professional with clinical and leadership experience, who has a specialist interest in transition work and bridging the gap between child and adolescent mental health services and Adult mental health services.

The successful candidate will work with young adults aged between 18-25 years old, providing skilled and complex interventions. This role requires autonomy, motivation, and the ability to develop positive working relationships with both Child and Adolescent and Adult mental health services, as well as external agencies.

We are looking for a professional who can make a positive impact on service provision and the lives of young adults living in the London Borough of Havering. The candidate will be linked to both transformation in CAMHS and Adult mental health services, as well as internal Quality Improvement projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Organize and prioritize workload in line with caseload and team needs.
  • Support the embedding of the 18-25 role linking services provision.
  • Maintain high clinical standards within the team.
  • Provide skilled and evidence-based assessment, formulation, intervention, and treatment within your scope of practice.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills across the MDT, sharing knowledge and skills from your own practice and discipline.
  • Deputize in the absence of a senior colleague, prioritizing and delegating tasks appropriately.
  • Adhere to Trust protocols and procedures, ensuring effective care planning and risk management for individuals and service levels.
  • Support the use of ROMS and other forms of audit to inform clinical and service delivery.
