Job Title: Financial Controller

Job Summary:

Brellis Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our client's team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing a medium-sized team and overseeing various financial functions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prepare financial statements, including management accounts, cost and manufacturing accounting, and year-end preparation.
  • Develop and implement financial analysis and reporting systems to provide insights to the CEO and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement budgets and forecasts.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Implement improved financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the CEO and other senior leaders.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Sage Line 200.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial organization.
