Job Title: Senior Associate - Corporate Banking

Join the Bank of China team as a Senior Associate - Corporate Banking and contribute to the success of our Corporate Banking business in the Transportation sector.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Transportation team as a Senior Associate - Corporate Banking. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality products and services to our clients, contributing to business marketing activities, and supporting cross-selling initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Team Head, Relationship Managers, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional client service and drive business growth.
  • Contribute to the development of business marketing strategies and internal reporting to support the Transportation team's objectives.
  • Support cross-selling activities, including loan, deposit, trade finance, cash management, FX, bond issuance, and RMB business.
  • Assist in post-lending management for the Transportation portfolio, including credit-related aspects such as LTV, Raroc calculation, ESG/Carbon emission calculation, and reporting.
  • Participate in general account maintenance duties with clients, including financial covenants and tax forms, and collaborate with relevant departments and lending partners.
  • Support the development of business proposals and processes within the Bank, including approval from Head Office if necessary.
  • Perform administrative duties and collaborate with members of the Transportation team and other departments to produce statistics, initial analysis, and review credit lines.
  • Liaise with BOC Head Office and domestic network to support the development of the business for BOC London and the Group's existing and target clients.
Requirements
  • Degree educated in Finance or Accounting.
  • Good understanding of general and structured corporate financing activities and general and structured corporate banking products and services.
  • Ability to navigate loan agreements and related financial documents.
  • Proven analytical skills, business judgment, and acumen.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in an international environment.
  • Good customer service skills and results-oriented.
  • Leadership skills to influence colleagues to achieve their goals.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Transportation sector is a plus.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred.
