Job Title:Oncology Pharmacist
About the Role:We are seeking a proactive and experienced oncology pharmacist to join our friendly, expanding team at a leading specialist cancer care provider in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for clinically checking and validating oncology prescriptions, procuring and dispensing SACT medicines and providing expert-level advice to patients relating to their treatment and medications.
Responsibilities:- Verify and screen SACT drugs to ensure patient safety
- Procure and dispense SACT medicines efficiently
- Provide expert-level advice to patients on their treatment and medications
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- At least 12 months' experience within a hospital environment
- Knowledge of oncology pharmacy
- Experience with verifying and screening SACT drugs
