Support Students' Growth as an Academic Learning Assistant

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with children aged 4-11, aiding in their academic, social, and emotional development.

About the Job

You will provide support to the class teacher, assisting with lesson planning, delivery, and assessment. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A passion for working with children and encouraging a love for learning
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with children or in childcare
  • Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Confidence in supporting individuals or small groups
  • An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship available)

The estimated salary for this role is approximately £19,000 - £24,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
