Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist - SUDEP Experience Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist with experience in working with children with SUDEP risk to provide a speech and language therapy programme at the child's home.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide a speech and language therapy programme to be implemented at the child's home
* Develop the child's use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
* Train the child's home-based education team and family in methods used in daily eating, drinking, and communication systems
* Complete reports and attend review meetings

Requirements:

* Highly specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications
* Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses
* Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
* HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
* 6 months of paid patient-facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
* Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
* The right to work in the UK
