About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance inspections and routine repairs across all areas of the site, working closely with the maintenance team to minimize downtime events on critical assets.

This is a varied role that requires flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team. The ideal candidate will have a recognized apprenticeship or relevant qualifications, such as ONC/BTEC NVQ 3 discipline level (Elec Bias), and experience working on single and three-phase AC and DC systems.

We offer a competitive salary, £46,285.20 per annum, which reflects the essential skills and qualifications required for this role. Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnosis of running faults and effective repairs within minimum time scales
  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance practices
  • Plant upgrades and modifications to required standards
  • Reporting through computerized maintenance management system
  • Development and implementation of planned preventative maintenance and inspection
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A recognized apprenticeship or relevant qualifications, such as ONC/BTEC NVQ 3 discipline level (Elec Bias)
  • Experience working on single and three-phase AC and DC systems
  • Waste processing equipment knowledge is desirable
  • IT literacy and comfortable using business software and systems
  • A full UK car driving license and live within a 20-mile radius of the site
