About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team at PeoplePlus. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely completion of qualifications for our learners.

Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality training sessions to groups of learners, with a particular emphasis on those with Basic Skills needs. You will work closely with our tutors to provide learners with advice on how to maximise their ability and learning skills, with the ultimate goal of making a positive impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training sessions to groups of learners, focusing on Basic Skills needs
  • Work closely with tutors to provide learners with advice on learning skills and ability
  • Support learners in overcoming barriers to progress
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and resources
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised teaching or training qualification (e.g. City and Guilds 7407 or 7304, PTLLS/CTLLS/DTLLS/Level 3 Award in Education)
  • Experience of working with young people and/or unemployed individuals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
