Save the Children is a leading international non-governmental organization that works to promote children's rights and provide emergency assistance to children in crisis. Our mission is to ensure that every child has access to quality education, healthcare, and protection from exploitation and abuse.
Why This Role Matters:
This role is critical to our mission, as it allows us to engage with local communities and raise vital funds for children in need. As a Retail Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our shop teams and contributing to our global efforts to improve the lives of children.
Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with stock management, providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized shop floor, and supporting with till duties and creating eye-catching window displays. You will also be expected to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a passion for working with children and their families. You will also require basic computer skills and the ability to work independently. We welcome applications from individuals with a wide range of skills and experiences, including those without retail or shop experience.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is £20,000 per annum, depending on experience. However, please note that this is a voluntary, unpaid position based in the UK.
