About the Role

Nelson Permanent Placements is proud to be representing a leading Facilities Management Company based in the UK. Due to expansion, they are seeking a skilled Fabric Engineer to join their team at a large entertainment facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Technical Services team in providing FM Services, ensuring high-quality and statutory compliance.
  • Perform hands-on work as a Fabric Engineer, with a good understanding of general building services and estate management.
  • Carry out fabric repairs to fire doors, flooring, and painting and decorating.
  • Ensure routine fabric maintenance meets and exceeds expectations and agreed service level agreements.
  • Undertake painting, decorating, and a full range of DIY tasks to maintain an attractive decorative environment.
  • Presentable and able to communicate at all levels.
  • Able to use a Tablet to produce paperwork and reports.
Requirements
  • CSCS card, IPAF or PASMA.
  • Computer literate and knowledge of compliance.
  • Experience with carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, roofing, and ceramic tiling.
  • Experience in both reactive small works and planned Maintenance.
