About Us

Bolton Community Leisure Trust is a leading provider of leisure services, dedicated to making a positive impact on the local community.

We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Horwich Leisure Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility and delivering exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of leading a team and providing excellent customer care. You will be passionate about delivering high-quality services and committed to making a difference in the lives of our customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the facility, including Aquatics, and ensuring that all activities are delivered to a high standard with safety as the top priority. You will also support the management team in building and maintaining positive relationships with onsite partners, guests, and neighbours.

You will be involved in a high level of customer interaction, deploying and supervising the operational team to ensure that our customers receive a positive and memorable experience. The successful candidate will hold a National Pool Lifeguard certificate (NPLQ), Pool plant operators' certificate (where appropriate) and first aid at work certificate, or be willing to undergo training.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has prior experience in a similar role. You will be confident in leading a team by example and working face-to-face with customers, preferably in the Leisure industry.
