About the Role

As a Business Assurance Specialist at Quilter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective operations of our core compliance and regulatory risk control activities.

The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of the Financial Planning markets, including Advice, Product Providers & Lenders, as well as a broad knowledge and understanding of Financial Service Regulation such as RDR, MIFID II, SDR, Supervision and Oversight, Data Protection, Anti-Money Laundering, Financial Crime, Data Security and Consumer Duty.

You will be responsible for reviewing and assessing financial advice, supporting the team with wider thematic reviews, and helping to refine key processes.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in assuring the advice checked meets all regulatory expectations, providing feedback where necessary, and contributing to market-leading right first-time rates.

About You
  • A Diploma Level 4 qualification is required, as well as experience of working in a Financial Services environment.
  • You will need a strong analytical approach, a professional attitude, including a professional telephone manner and professional communication skills.
  • A good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential, as well as management information via systems such as Xplan and Worksmart.
  • Always demonstrate good customer outcomes and contribute to building a great environment to work in.
