Job Title: Injection Moulding Setter

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join our client, a leading injection moulding manufacturer, as part of their growth plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mould set ups and changes in an efficient manner according to the production schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mould set ups and changes in an efficient manner according to the production schedule
  • Perform real-time maintenance on all primary tooling, machinery, and auxiliary equipment as required
  • Assist the maintenance department in troubleshooting technical issues
  • Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical issues on equipment to provide timely short-term and long-term solutions
  • Support and complete tool trials
  • Support the company with quality objectives related to requirements within ISO 9001:2008
  • Perform all duties in a safe, non-hazardous manner in compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within injection moulding manufacturing is essential
  • Experience of process problem-solving within an injection moulding environment
  • Industry-recognised injection moulding qualification
  • Basic level of numeracy and literacy is required
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive can-do attitude
