About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Capita. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a maintenance schedule that meets our high standards and ensures the safety of our staff and visitors.
  • Manage a team of engineers and maintenance staff to ensure that all facilities are properly maintained and repaired.
  • Work closely with our contract manager to ensure that all contracts are fulfilled and that our facilities are properly maintained.
  • Develop and implement a lifecycle program that meets all contract and safety requirements.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure that our facilities management standards are met.
  • Manage all maintenance subcontractors to ensure that they are providing excellent service and meeting all regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities management, including maintenance and lifecycle program implementation.
  • Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and experience of Lifecycle/project processes and delivery.
  • Experience of working to SFG20 standards and familiarity with health & safety, COSHH, and other relevant statutory regulations.
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulation Qualified or have relevant mechanical qualifications.
