Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at NP Aerospace. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management of vehicle build, integration, and delivery of vehicles and support services for the Defence/Military Vehicle Systems, Services and Spares (VSSS) Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and project budgets.
- Work with the Programme Delivery function to define and coordinate resources required and assigned to projects.
- Provide technical direction to ensure system design meets customer's technical specifications and quality or regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to investigate and obtain corrective action data.
- Support project management milestone reporting and provide robust management information reporting on progress.
- Develop and maintain Project Management Plans and associated governance documentation.
- Maintain a clear understanding of risks and opportunities for allocated projects and take necessary actions.
- Collaborate with the bid management team on bid preparation activities.
- Ownership of financial budget and forecasting future risks and opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness.
- Proficient in Microsoft packages, including MS Project.
- A self-starter who can work independently and effectively under minimal supervision.
- Knowledge and experience in the effective use of Project Management tools and techniques.
- Ability to quickly identify the critical path and mitigate risks.
- Strong negotiation skills with customers, management, peers, and subordinates.
