Senior PBS Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Positive Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at Positive Futures. As a key member of our PBS team, you will play a vital role in developing and coordinating PBS across our services.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring to our staff, volunteers, families, and carers, as well as external stakeholders and organisations. You will work closely with our PBS Practice Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality person-centred PBS services that enable the people we support to participate in their communities and live the lives they choose.

We challenge outdated ways of thinking, identify gaps in service provision, and work in partnership to make a positive impact on the lives of the people we support.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and coordinate PBS across our services
- Provide leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff, volunteers, families, and carers
- Work closely with our PBS Practice Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality PBS services
- Collaborate with external stakeholders and organisations to achieve our goals
- Be educated to a minimum of degree level in a relevant PBS related discipline
- Have 4 years experience in PBS service delivery in a relevant field
- Be qualified or accredited as a trainer in a recognised approach to PBS
- Have a full, valid driving licence and use of a car for business purposes
- Experience of supporting people with an offending (forensic) history
- Experience of Trauma Informed Practice
- Familiarity with organisational requirements to achieve accreditation/certification in PBS services
- Experience of using Person Centred Planning Tools
