About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Access Coordinator to join our team in Cumbernauld, Scotland. As a key member of our project and maintenance environment, you will be responsible for access planning and associated documentation for a busy portfolio of projects and framework remits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with project management teams on all access planning matters.
  • Work closely with Construction Management and Estimating team to identify available possessions and optimise working.
  • Ensure possession, isolation & protection requests are submitted in line with Network Rail planning timescales and format.
  • Plan possession/protection arrangements.
  • Identify project risks/opportunities and participate in management process.
  • Maintain close relationships and liaise with other members of the planning job family.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Possession Planner or Safe System of Work (SSOW) Planner in rail minor works environment.
  • PPS planning access experience.
  • PTS.
  • Trained and certificated as competent Controller of Site Safety [COSS].
  • Good understanding of Network Rail Rule Book and ability to interpret Sectional Appendices, Hazard Directory, and Environmental Assessments etc.
  • Holder of a full British Driving License.
