About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our team at NW Recruitment Ltd. As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and inspection, including management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys, as well as asbestos in the ground.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out asbestos surveys and inspections in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance, including HSE and construction regulations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of UKAS accreditation and relevant documents, such as Lab 30 and RG8.
  • Ensure compliance with internal assurance processes and maintain personal QHSE documentation.
  • Provide a professional and courteous service to clients, answering queries and providing specialist advice and interpretation as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, management, the Technical Support team, and fellow team members.
Requirements
  • BOHS P402, equivalent RSPH qualification, or Certificate of Competence.
  • Working knowledge of HSG:264 The Survey Guide.
  • Full UK driving licence (manual).
  • Flexible approach to travelling and out-of-hours working.
  • Strong work ethic, with the ability to work effectively and intuitively alone or as part of a small team.
