Job Title: Recruitment and Compliance Co-Ordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruitment and Compliance Co-Ordinator to join our team at Sonderwell. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all compliance standards are met, while also supporting the wider team in attracting and selecting top talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initial Contact: Provide a responsive service, making first contact with new candidates within 24 hours of receiving an application or expression of interest.
  • Candidate Management: Manage the selection process, including telephone screening, conducting formal interviews, documenting outcomes, and providing candidate feedback.
  • Compliance: Ensure all CQC and regulatory guidelines for safer recruitment are adhered to, including conducting referencing checks, right to work, and following up on gaps in employment history and non-compliant references.
  • DBS Checks: Obtain compliant documents to submit enhanced DBS checks on behalf of the candidate and review the outcome of the DBS check.
  • Induction and Training: Participate in the delivery of the induction to new employees and plan and book all new employees onto necessary training to ensure they are compliant to work for the business.
  • Employee Compliance: Plan and book all existing employees onto necessary and recommended training and repeat training as required to maintain compliance with minimum and preferred training requirements.

We are looking for someone with recruitment experience, gained in agency or in-house, who can blend administrative skills with the compliance element of the role. You will enjoy engaging with candidates, providing a positive experience, and understand the importance of ensuring an efficient compliance process.
