We are seeking a skilled Humanities Teacher to join our thriving department. As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering History, Geography, Religious Studies (RS), and Personal Development to Key Stage 3 students. Our curriculum includes compulsory RS at GCSE, as well as History and Geography at both GCSE and A-level. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to accommodate their specialism(s) in the timetable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and support the curriculum's sequencing rationale
  • Provide curriculum feedback in team meetings or to HoF/HoD or KS Coordinator
  • Ensure high levels of challenge and support for all learners
  • Utilize knowledge organizers and review activities
  • Promote inclusivity and representation
  • Equip learners for further studies
  • Secure excellent teaching and learning outcomes
  • Apply principles in classroom practice
  • Enhance subject-specific teaching strategies
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons
