UK Utilities Civils Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Civils Manager to join our client's team. As a key member of the infrastructure project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of civils supervisors and teams. Your expertise will help drive projects forward while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Salary Details
The annual salary for this position is approximately £52,800 - £53,000. In addition to a competitive salary, the company offers a range of benefits, including a company vehicle or allowance, pension scheme, life assurance, and 28 days of holiday.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage civils supervisors and teams involved in utility excavation, backfill, and reinstatement works.
- Ensure all staff under supervision are competent, fully trained, and aware of site requirements before commencing work.
- Coordinate with Local Authorities and clients to ensure works meet streetwork permits and client timescales.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues arising during construction.
Essential Qualifications
- Previous experience as a civils supervisor or manager in utility excavation and backfill works.
- Strong understanding of NRSWA and HAUC guidelines and streetwork permit conditions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Working Environment
This role will involve working at various sites throughout the South of England, with occasional travel required to meet with clients and stakeholders.
