Infrastructure Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Asset Management Specialist to join our team at NatWest. As an Infrastructure Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing input to and supporting the team's activities to ensure the platform integrity is maintained in line with technical roadmaps, while supporting change demands from domains or centres of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the platform risk culture, making sure that risks are discussed and understood at every step, and effectively collaborating to mitigate risk.
  • Contributing to the planning and execution of work within the platform and the timely servicing of feature development requests from cross-platform initiatives, and supporting the delivery of regulatory reporting.
  • Participating and seeking out opportunities to simplify the platform infrastructure, architecture, services, and customer solutions, guarding against introducing new complexity.
  • Supporting with planning and implementing the IT hardware asset life cycle strategy, advising purchasing, finance, and platform teams in strategies for managing IT hardware assets.
  • Regularly reviewing the hardware assets to ensure accuracy and data quality.
  • Building relationships with platform, domain, and relevant cross-domain stakeholders.
  • Making sure that controls are applied and constantly reviewed, primarily against SOX, to ensure full compliance with all our policies and regulatory obligations.

Requirements

  • A solid background working in an Agile or DevOps environment with continuous delivery and continuous integration, along with the ability to analyse complex data using Microsoft Excel.
  • ITIL foundation as a minimum.
  • Proven track record within a hardware asset management team.
  • Experience with tools such as the ServiceNow platform.
  • Knowledge of HAM or HAMPRO in ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standard toolsets and processes to drive up customer service within an IT environment.
  • Experience of driving solutions from inception to implementation.
  • Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
