Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounting functions including month-end and year-end process, reconciliations, cash receipts, accounts payable, journal entries review and posting, fixed assets, equity, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports on a consolidated basis and stand-alone basis.
  • Perform variance and trend analysis on financial data to identify issues and/or inefficiencies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to complete year-end financial audits and project audits.
  • Design and improve accounting procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.
  • Lead financial review with operational managers and upper management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 6+ years or more of related field experience and 1+ supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and good understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Master's Degree highly preferred.
  • Public accounting experience preferred but not required.

This role will supervise accounting team members to perform accounting functions and ensure financial data accuracy and integrity, and in compliance with accounting principles, when applicable.

Sedentary for prolonged periods of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
