Luxury Sales Ambassador

As a Luxury Sales Ambassador at Selfridges, you will deliver an exceptional customer experience, meeting sales and profit targets while developing client relationships to generate new business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Nurturing and developing relationships to generate new business with a focus on international, high-potential, and high-net-worth clients.
  • Recognizing potential events to further our client base and proactively approaching individuals and corporations.
  • Generating ideas and implementing plans to develop business opportunities and drive productivity, sales, and profit across own bought and concession businesses.
  • Demonstrating a commercial mindset and outlook to stay responsive to customer needs, sharing inspiration, and developing a commercial mindset in the immediate and wider team.
  • Monitoring customer service satisfaction and spend, suggesting improvements where necessary, and keeping us ahead of our competitors.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders at store events and through other commercial opportunities.
  • Acting as an ambassador for Selfridges Personal Shopping both internally and externally by representing our brand in public/store events to promote our products and services.
  • Following health and safety and security procedures.
  • Positively interacting with potential and existing clients, answering queries, and providing guidance on our services, enabling customers to choose the most suitable option for them.
  • Continuing to deliver our unique service by maintaining customer care, responding to client enquiries, booking, and following up on deliveries and client alterations.
  • Responsible for prepping the client rooms, maintaining housekeeping standards, from returning stock from previous consultations and laying out product options for the next client, to having refreshments ready for their arrival.
  • Working confidently and collaboratively with various departments, from the wider personal shopping team, various departments, and divisions, to Fashion Workroom, striving to deliver exceptional service and standards.
  • Staying ahead of the latest trends by taking every opportunity to expand your product knowledge and being aware of competitor activity.
