Job Overview

Rentokil Initial is seeking a skilled Product Validation Engineer to join our team. As a Product Validation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute rigorous testing protocols to validate product robustness and longevity in the field.
  • Provide expert product validation support to the design process through to product launch to market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope out and design test solutions to validate new products.
  • Develop and review test plans and test procedures to ensure technical requirements are met.
  • Support testing and monitoring of tests to ensure product quality and reliability.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, or more than 5 years of experience in product validation.
  • Engineering background with proven experience of working within multi-disciplined teams and matrix organisation structures.
  • Excellent communication skills, calm under pressure, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Expertise in validating electronics/electrical/electromechanical products.
  • Experience of testing firmware and wireless products.
  • Able to manage a large number of items in a project portfolio across the design process.
