Job Title: Pupil Support Worker

Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pupil Support Worker to join our team at a specialist school in the East Midlands. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND, promoting their emotional and academic well-being.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with daily care routines, including personal care and mobility support.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting social skills and relationships.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with SEND, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • High levels of patience, empathy, and understanding, with a commitment to promoting positive behavior.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Valid Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, with two professional references.
