About the Role:

Fletchers Solicitors is seeking a skilled Solicitor to join our Clinical Negligence team. As a Solicitor in this role, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of Clinical Negligence cases from inception to trial, under the supervision of senior lawyers. You will provide support, guidance, and assistance to the team to deliver outstanding service to clients. The ideal candidate will have recent experience of handling a case load, excellent organisational and time management skills, and excellent communication and drafting skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for running an individual caseload
  • Providing support, guidance and assistance to the team to deliver outstanding service to clients
  • Contribute to proactive and commercial case management and progression across the team
  • Supporting the Team Leader/Head of Department in ensuring the delivery of the team's financial and performance KPIs
  • Effective and thorough time recording

Requirements:

  • NQ- 5 years PQE or equivalent experience working in Clinical Negligence
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills
  • Excellent IT skills especially in respect of Microsoft Office packages, Proclaim and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment
  • Ability to work well with junior team members, providing coaching and mentoring
  • Flexible and willing to commit to achieving results and meeting deadlines
