Catering Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at Adecco UK Limited. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school canteen, providing excellent customer service to students and staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve meals to students and staff in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Prepare and present food to a high standard, adhering to nutritional guidelines and dietary requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with the catering team to achieve set targets and objectives
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a catering or food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge
