Job Description

Job Title: Bookkeeper

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at CLD Recruitment. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process data entry on accounting software (Quickbooks, Dext, Xero etc)
  • Maintain client records and produce reports
  • Work on payroll submissions to HMRC for wages and CIS returns
  • Manage and submit client VAT returns
  • Process standard monthly wages
  • Assist with CIS return submissions

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience with data entry and bookkeeping
  • Experience with Sage 50, Xero, QuickBooks, Iris, Sage Business Cloud an advantage
  • Previous experience with payroll software would be preferable (Bright pay, Sage payroll)
  • Strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
