Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Chubb Fire & Security UK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of design and build projects, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administration of main contracts, including project control information, change management, and cash collection
  • Administration of subcontract agreements, ensuring best practices are adopted and implemented throughout the project lifecycle
  • Providing advisory services on standard forms of agreement, including FIDIC, JCT, NEC, and ICE
  • Assisting in the development and responsibility for procurement and negotiation of all subcontracts
  • Commercial management of all subcontract works, including NEC3 and other standard forms
  • Managing change, including valuing change and agreeing value consequences to subcontractors
Requirements:
  • Experience of JCT and NEC3 standard forms of contract
  • Experience in business processes with a hands-on approach, sharing and enacting best practice
  • Experience in quantifying works in accordance with standard measurement rules
  • Experience in the administration of contracts in both client and subcontract environments
  • Ability to influence and manage confrontational and difficult situations in a professional manner
