Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Children's Residential Support Worker. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with learning difficulties or challenging behaviour in a residential home setting. Your primary focus will be on providing assistance to these young individuals, enabling them to reach their full potential.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist children with daily tasks and activities, promoting their independence and confidence
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, building trust and rapport
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a safe and nurturing environment that meets the unique needs of each child
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 6 months paid experience in children's care in the UK within the last 3 years
- The right to work in the UK
- A good standard of English, both spoken and written
- An Enhanced DBS
- Suitable references for the last 3 years of employment
Benefits: Competitive salary (£23,000-£29,000), accrued holiday pay, ongoing training, flexible working hours, immediate start, weekly pay.
