Job Summary
The Forward Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team. As a Senior Band 6 Substance Misuse Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality treatment and recovery support services to individuals struggling with addiction.
About the Role
As a Lead Nurse in Addiction Treatment, you will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Developing and implementing treatment plans that address the complex needs of individuals with substance misuse issues
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Conducting assessments and providing individualized support to clients
- Contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in substance misuse treatment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant experience in substance misuse treatment and recovery support
- Strong clinical leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A deep understanding of the complexities of addiction and the importance of trauma-informed care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
