Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design of below-ground drainage networks, including SuDs elements for buildings, highways, and public realms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects within a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and retail.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers to ensure high-quality designs and timely project delivery.
  • Develop and implement innovative design solutions to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain expertise and provide guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Civil Design Engineer in a leading consultancy.
  • Proven track record of managing and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of design software, including Microdrainage, Civil 3D, and BIM.
  • Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
