Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring the implementation and monitoring of academic policies and procedures across all campuses and programs of study. The successful candidate will contribute to the maintenance, review, and updating of GBS academic policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the policies, procedures, and systems of partner awarding bodies are fully and consistently implemented and monitored across programs delivered by GBS.
  • Contribute to the maintenance, review, and updating of GBS academic policies and procedures.
  • Write quality monitoring and quality enhancements reports as required.
  • Ensure quality assurance and enhancement at GBS supports a cycle of continuous improvement, leading the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of enhancements.
  • Write high-quality reports using quantitative and qualitative data for internal and external audiences as required.
  • Coordinate and undertake internal quality audit tasks as appropriate to the needs of GBS and demands of awarding bodies/partner organizations.
  • Support GBS's student-facing processes as required, ensuring timely responses and satisfactory outcomes.
  • Act as secretary as required to GBS boards and committees.
  • Work with and complete tasks set by the Associate Director and/or Academic Quality Manager.
  • Take on special projects as required and related to the role of Academic Quality Officer.
  • Work efficiently, accurately, and with a high level of attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Excellent written skills with experience of report writing.
  • Ability to compile, analyze, and evaluate qualitative and quantitative data to incorporate into reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work to challenging deadlines and deliver set objectives.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Willing to travel to GBS campuses as appropriate.
