At Leader Recruitment Group, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our client's team in Bradford. This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of our residents and to lead by example for the Health Care Assistant team.

  • Leadership: Supervise and support all care staff on your shift, ensuring best practices.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medication to residents when required.
  • Resident Care: Assist residents with daily personal care, support nutrition, and promote independence.
  • Engagement: Facilitate social and recreational activities, enhancing residents' quality of life.
  • Safety & Security: Maintain a secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork and records promptly and accurately.
  • Safeguarding: Identify and report any safeguarding concerns immediately.
  • Health Monitoring: Observe and record residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to senior staff.
  • Medical Support: Accompany residents to medical appointments as needed.

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Senior Carer or similar role in a care home setting.
  • Training: Must be trained in medication administration.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality care.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build compassionate relationships with residents and staff.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
