At BAM Nuttall, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Project Manager to lead the delivery of geotechnical works on various projects across the UK.
About the RoleWe offer a competitive salary in the range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for planning and leading the safe, technically excellent delivery of geotechnical works. This will involve working closely with project teams to develop and implement project plans, ensuring that all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, with extensive experience in managing complex projects. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance;
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of geotechnical works;
- Conduct site inspections and investigations to identify potential risks and opportunities;
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including progress updates and lessons learned;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements;
- Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) in geotechnical engineering;
- Minimum 8 years' experience in managing complex geotechnical projects;
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines;
