Job Description

The successful candidate will work on our Discharge Lounge, providing safe and effective care to patients. This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to contribute to the success of our hospital and develop their clinical skills.

You will work closely with patients, families, and the multi-disciplinary team to ensure excellent outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-standard skilled care to patients based on individual needs, in consultation with the multi-professional team.
  • Devising and evaluating patient care plans, ensuring realistic goals are set collaboratively with patients, their families, and the team.
  • Ensuring due regard is given to patients' customs, spiritual beliefs, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Promoting effective communication within the multi-professional team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Current registration with the NMC on part one or two of the register.
  • Proven clinical practice in an acute hospital setting.
  • Able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
