Leading Mental Health Expert in Patient-Centric Care

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare, a leading provider of mental health services. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to provide expert care and leadership to our patients.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have extensive experience working with survivors of acquired brain injury, individuals with neurodegenerative conditions, and complex physical health conditions. They will be responsible for managing ward teams, conducting unit rounds, assessments, and providing supervision to junior staff members.
Responsibilities- Lead the administration of the Mental Health Act, Clinical Policy, and Clinical Standards to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Evaluate the medical service through audits to ensure clinical policies and practices meet research-based standards.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to facilitate service users' journeys back into the community.
- Chair ward MDT meetings to promote effective communication and decision-making.
- Ensure the adequate working of the Care Programme Approach for service users.
- Contribute to training, education, and development of staff across all disciplines.
- Medically qualified with MRCPsych or equivalent.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Innovative and imaginative with the ability to initiate corporate decisions.
- Strong leadership abilities to effect change professionally and organisationally.
- Knowledge of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health.
- Previous consultant experience.
- A highly competitive annual salary of £120,000 - £150,000 per year.
