Finance Business Partner Opportunity

FryerMiles is partnering with a leading business in Warrington to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide business partner support to Central Overhead Functions, ensuring seamless financial planning and analysis.
  2. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective financial control processes, driving business growth and profitability.
  3. Conduct financial scenario modelling and provide strategic advice to the business, based on in-depth financial analysis.
  4. Act as a strategic partner, forming part of the leadership team, and providing analysis, insight, and support to aid commercial and operational decision-making.
  5. Lead the UK forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes, setting financial targets and objectives for relevant sub-divisions.
  6. Conduct business performance analysis to identify, investigate, and understand operational business unit results, and recommend improvement opportunities.
  7. Prepare CAPEX investment appraisals, including rationale and expected financial return.
  8. Develop and deliver Business Intelligence reporting relevant to sub-divisions, driving process improvements in working capital management.
  9. Ensure accuracy of period-end financial closings, providing business expertise to the financial control team.
The Ideal Candidate:
  1. Business Partner experience with relevant accountancy qualifications (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
  2. Experience in manufacturing accounting, variance analysis, plant operations, and managing multiple projects.
  3. Demonstrated ability to identify business cases for new opportunities and prepare planning models and/or implementation plans for senior management.
  4. Ability to represent finance with the business and the business with finance.
  5. SAP knowledge/experience preferable.
  6. Advanced Excel user.
