Job Title: Medical Equipment Specialist

**Company Overview:**

**Estimated Salary:** €35,000 - €45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Specialist to join our Endoscopy workshop team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with customers to ensure the correct operation of various types of endoscopes supplied by us. Your responsibilities will include inspecting, repairing, disassembling, reassembling, troubleshooting, and testing scopes returned to the workshop for evaluation.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Use small hand tools and test equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
* Maintain accurate service records in line with our quality system
* Assist staff in other areas of our business as needed
* Undergo training at Olympus UK to gain manufacturer-recognized qualifications for minor, intermediate, and major level repairs

**Requirements:**
* 4 GCSEs including Math and English
* Level 4/5 qualification or equivalent in Engineering/Operations & Maintenance
* Previous experience in repair and maintenance of flexible endoscopes (advantageous)
* 6 months to 1 year of electro-mechanical experience and/or demonstrable repair ability
* Sufficient manual dexterity with small hand tools
* Ability to work with microscopes, test equipment, and hand soldering irons
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to understand and follow manuals, work instructions, job standards, and related information
* Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks effectively
