About the Role:

We are seeking an Estimator to join our team at Leeds College Of Building. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction techniques and be proficient in mathematics and IT. They will be responsible for estimating project costs and managing budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate project costs and prepare detailed budgets
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure project deliverables are met

Requirements:

  • 4 or more GCSEs grades A-C (9-4) and a minimum of 2 A Levels or BTEC equivalent
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques and mathematics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary:

Newly trained estimators can earn £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, while trained and experienced estimators can earn £20,000 - £35,000 per annum. Senior, chartered or master estimators can earn £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
