About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tutor to join our team at Randstad. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students in achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Deliver Personalized Lesson Plans: Create tailored learning plans that cater to the unique needs and learning styles of each student.
  • Assess and Record Student Progress: Regularly assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and record achievement levels using our internal reporting system.
  • Deliver Engaging Sessions: Design and deliver interactive and engaging sessions that cater to a variety of learning styles and promote student participation.
  • Achieve Measurable Outcomes: Work with students to set and achieve measurable outcomes from each session, assessing the impact of your teaching.
  • Collaborate with Educational Stakeholders: Work closely with educational and care stakeholders to ensure student support and achieve shared goals.
  • Adhere to Safeguarding Guidelines: Ensure compliance with KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines at all times.
Desired Qualities and Experience
  • Previous Tutoring Experience: Proven experience in tutoring one-to-one or small groups of students needing additional educational or pastoral support.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Possess inspirational, effective, and adaptable communication skills to cultivate meaningful relationships with students and stakeholders.
  • IT Proficiency: Proficiency in IT skills, access to a laptop/computer, and audio-visual capabilities to support teaching and learning.
  • Reliability and Flexibility: Ability to work reliably and flexibly to meet the needs of students and stakeholders.
