Job Title: Senior Ophthalmic and Vision Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ophthalmic and Vision Scientist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services and contributing to the development of our musculoskeletal imaging and intervention services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality imaging services, including MSK imaging and intervention
  • Contribute to the development of our musculoskeletal imaging and intervention services
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care
  • Participate in clinical governance and audit activities to ensure high standards of care
  • Engage in continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements:
  • Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Experience in general and MSK radiology and MSK intervention
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, clinical colleagues, and support staff
  • Good knowledge of, and ability to use, spoken and written English
  • Ability to present effectively to an audience and respond to questions and queries
