Job Title: Welding Inspector - Pressure Vessels Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Inspector - Pressure Vessels Specialist to join our client's successful team. As a key member of the Quality Control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in welding and fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct non-destructive testing and weld inspection to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  2. Develop and implement quality control procedures for fabrication and welding processes.
  3. Carry out weld audits to ensure adherence to ISO 3834 standards.
  4. Collaborate with the QHSE team to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  5. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
  6. Perform internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Requirements:

  1. Good engineering skill set (Apprenticeship, HND, Degree, etc.)
  2. QC experience within a manufacturing environment
  3. Fabrication/Welding knowledge
  4. CSWIP certification
  5. PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) knowledge
