About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team at Secure Care UK - Bases. As a key member of our transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and respectful transportation of patients to various healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from healthcare settings, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support during transportation, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards individuals with mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care and transport.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and compassion.
Requirements
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience.
  • Maintain Enhanced DBS certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, prioritizing patient needs and safety.

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, working on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern, with opportunities for flexible working arrangements. We reserve the right to change working times with reasonable notice.

Salary: £12.33p/h (blended rate for day, night, and weekend shifts), with annual remuneration starting from £25,877.18 based on expected hours.
