Examiner for Higher National Construction Programmes

We are seeking a highly experienced examiner to join our team of assessors, who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of assessments in higher national construction programmes.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in delivering and assessing BTEC Higher National qualifications in the subject area, with a strong understanding of the specifications that comprise the area of expertise for the role.
They will also possess excellent communication, written, verbal, IT and interpersonal skills, as well as a customer-focused approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires the individual to provide high-quality support to centres during the sampling process, monitor compliance with Pearson quality assurance expectations, and apply appropriate sanctions where necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a qualification at least at Level 6 and a full and relevant competence qualification for working in the sector, as well as evidence of recent Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in the sector.
We offer a competitive salary of around £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
