Occupational Therapist

NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their West Lothian Mental Health Occupational Therapy Service based at St Johns Hospital. The successful candidate will work within a 9-month rotation covering acute admissions, Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit, and a Rehabilitation unit.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the assessment and treatment of individuals referred to Occupational Therapy, focusing on occupational, functional, and cognitive needs.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in supervision, staff development, and student education.
- Strong interest in Mental Health and evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
