About the RoleWe're looking for a skilled Beverage Technologist to join our team at Manton Wood. As a key member of our process development team, you'll be responsible for delivering process development and line trials that meet customer requirements and drive process improvements. Your expertise will help us create accurate and appropriate product labelling information, and you'll work closely with cross-functional manufacturing teams to promote the adoption of new practices or processes for increased efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Provide information to support the creation of customer and factory specifications.
- Plan, prepare, and execute process development and line trials to deliver customer requirements and process improvements.
- Provide process guidance and advice to manufacturing teams to promote the adoption of new practices or processes.
- Monitor and communicate process trends to ensure launch date adherence and maximum process optimisation.
- Challenging and investigating potential continuous improvement projects and facilitating relevant trials to drive process and product enhancements opportunities.
- Ensure the output of all line trials is fully documented with adherence to food safety, quality standards, and customer requirements.
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Beverage Technologist with a degree in a food science or related subject. You'll need to have relevant working experience within a food manufacturing environment and hold relevant qualifications such as Level 3 Food Hygiene, Level 2 Health and Safety, HACCP Level 2, Sensory Training Level 2, and Microbiological Training Level 2. You'll also need to be experienced working with different types of computer programmes and able to demonstrate experience analysing project results.
